I'm having an issue with the app and need help!

While we've completed hundreds of hours of testing, there may be some hidden issues we haven't seen yet. To help us identify your issue, please reach out to us using the support request form on our Support Page.

Please include the following information and we'll aim to get back to you within two business days;

For iOS
  • What device you're using e.g. iPad (8th generation) (Found in 'Settings').
  • The iOS software version e.g. iOS14.4 (Found in 'Settings').
  • Confirm that you've installed the latest version of the app available on our download page.
For Android
  • What device you're using e.g. Pixel 4 (Found in 'About').
  • The Android software version e.g. Android 11 (Found in 'About').

What devices is Sound Storm compatible with?

Apple

Does the device need to be connected to the internet?

No, the results are stored in the iPad/tablet itself not in the cloud. Further, the user cannot back up their data to a computer as it sits within the app only. If a player loses or damages their device, the risk is that they will lose their progress in the game.

How do I disable push notifications?

It is important for the player not to be distracted by push notifications on their device whilst playing Sound Storm. Please go to the settings tab and turn off notifications from other games and social apps.

How do I email the Progress Report?

  1. Click on the ‘Progress’ icon on the 'Player Select' page.
  2. Use your device’s standard screen capture function to take a screen grab of the report. (This is usually by pressing the power and home button at the same time, or the power and volume up button).
  3. This will save an image to your camera roll or photo library for you to send through to your audiologist or specialist as an email.
